Introduction:

Paintings: When I finish a painting, it is taken from the easel and placed on the wall, I step back and admire what I have accomplished. This feeling of satisfaction usually lasts about 5 minutes. I will sit back down, start cleaning my brushes, glancing up at the piece with a grin on my face. Then, the cord that connected me to the picture begins to stretch, the transition to a commodity has begun, my 5 minutes are up. This blog will be that first step in the process of coaxing a painting out of the studio.
Inspiration: This word allows me to write about anything that facilitates the above.
The Creative Process: Occasionally there will be a post about life as a painter, what goes into creating and marketing a picture.

My goal is to post once a week, if you like what you see, please check back in. All comments are welcome.

The above painting is THE HAPPIEST MAN IN THE WORLD 2005 (private collection). This picture still makes me laugh, read into it what you will.
